I’m a Fractional CMO and hands-on growth partner for start-ups, scale-ups and founder-led businesses. For 15+ years, I’ve worked across B2B and B2C growth, from early-stage propositions to established brands with bigger teams, bigger budgets and more complex commercial challenges.

HOW I GOT HERE

From channel execution to the bigger growth problem

Earlier in my career, I worked close to the channels within digital acquisition marketing (what would now often be called performance marketing). That gave me a strong view of what drives activity, conversion and demand.
But I didn't want to specialise in one narrow lane. The more I worked across different businesses, the clearer it became that there is rarely one silver bullet. Growth does not usually come from one channel performing in isolation.
The bigger question is how the channels work together: who the business is trying to reach, where those people spend time, what they need to hear, how the funnel supports them, and how marketing connects to sales, product and the commercial model.
That is why my work moved into broader growth strategy. A lot of that is marketing, but the best results usually come when positioning, product, sales, reporting and execution are working together rather than sitting in silos.
Today, the work is about joining the pieces up. so teams can make better growth decisions and not just add more marketing activity.
